It offers the best view of Macau and in recent years has been used for a variety of adventurous activities. At 233 meters, the Macau Tower's tethered "skyjump" and Bungee jump by world renowned AJ Hackett [1] from the tower's outer rim, is the highest in the world. The tower was created by the architecture firm of Craig Craig Moller.

The tower is one of the members of the World Federation of Great Towers. Besides being used for observation and entertainment, the tower is also used for telecommunications and broadcasting.

The exhibition building of the Maritime Museum was built at the place where the first batch of Portuguese landed. The Museum looks like a special vessel anchored at the bay where the fishermen lived. The white outer wall looks like a ship with three masts full wind. The glass on both sides makes one think of the observation towers.

The inside of the museum is filled with oceanic atmosphere. At the booking office, is placed a jar of colorful gold fish. On the wall there hangs a huge hand-made porcelain brick painting, carved with a compass and points of the compass.

Inside the Museum there is a piece of relief sculpture on which is inscribed the arrival of the Portuguese navigators at Macau. In the exhibition hall below are mainly displayed the circumstances of the groups of fishermen in the southern part of China.
